Central Sensation

When taking photos, I LOVE it when objects are in the centre.

For me, it draws the eye to the centre piece of the image.

It’s so simple, yet highly effective.

When you look at a photo, your subconscious starts your eye to the top left of the image – as this is how you read.

So when taking photographs, I bear this in mind.

Graffiti Gallery

I park my car in a football stadium car park for when I visit town.

It may be a mile round hike to and from the car, but it’s reasonably priced, there’s always a space and hey, it burns a few calories!

To and from my destination, I walk down/up a rather salubrious back alley.

All full of graffiti, it’s hard not to stop and admire the artistry.

I can’t always make out the words, but the talent always catches my eye.

City Views

Newcastle is home to many beautiful bridges.

On the Quayside alone, it is home to 5 bridges, all serving a different purpose.

The millennium bridge was opened by the Queen of England in May 2002. This bridge is just pedestrianised and for cyclists. It has a cool skill to it, as it turns on its side to let the boats through!

The Tyne bridge is the big green which allows cars and buses over.

The high level bridge allows buses and taxis over but just one way.

The Swing bridge is a dual road bridge from Gateshead to Newcastle.

And the blue one is for the metro!

It’s all go at the Quayside!
