Grounded Part 2

In my city, we have an arcade of shops called Central Arcade. In it, we have shoe shops, music shops, city enquiries and a Costa. It is such a beautiful place. So much architecture and details.

Look at the ceiling!

Such utter beauty!

Grounded Part 1

Alongside filling the frame, I LOVE a good snail eye view.

This is where you place (carefully) your lens of the camera as close to the ground as possible.

It is absolutely great for street photography, which I discovered at the weekend.

Sometimes you need to experiment and see what happens in your images. You don’t necessarily need to have it all figured out, it’s all about having fun and learning from your images.

Mute the tones, keep the image and pathway central – experiment! It’s all about adaptation and learning.

Watch out for my next blog post “Grounded Part 2” for more street based snail eye photography!

In the meantime, have you checked out my ebook? All this week (til Saturday 3rd October) it is £1!

Central Sensation

When taking photos, I LOVE it when objects are in the centre.

For me, it draws the eye to the centre piece of the image.

It’s so simple, yet highly effective.

When you look at a photo, your subconscious starts your eye to the top left of the image – as this is how you read.

So when taking photographs, I bear this in mind.

Running

Keep on running

This isn’t a blog post about how to run, but rather a blog post about how to be an inspiration.

Above, the generous and fantastic gentleman on the left with the neon socks ran for 24 hours around a field in memory of a beautiful and wonderful lady whom unfortunately died of cancer in November 2019.

He ran for 24 hours.

This is proof that you can do anything you put your mind to.

You got a goal? Go live it and make it happen now.

This is proof that hard work, practice, patience, dedication, consistency, positive mental attitude and kindness make your goals and dreams come true.

Goals don’t happen overnight. You’ve got to push for them every day!

Sure, not everything works out, but you have to try.

Trying gets you places.

Why not try today?
