Running

Keep on running

This isn’t a blog post about how to run, but rather a blog post about how to be an inspiration.

Above, the generous and fantastic gentleman on the left with the neon socks ran for 24 hours around a field in memory of a beautiful and wonderful lady whom unfortunately died of cancer in November 2019.

He ran for 24 hours.

This is proof that you can do anything you put your mind to.

You got a goal? Go live it and make it happen now.

This is proof that hard work, practice, patience, dedication, consistency, positive mental attitude and kindness make your goals and dreams come true.

Goals don’t happen overnight. You’ve got to push for them every day!

Sure, not everything works out, but you have to try.

Trying gets you places.

Why not try today?

A Step to the Side

Side hustles – what do you know about them?

Sure, you may have your 9-5, but are you working on anything else?

I like to use the chunking method when thing about earning more money.

👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Say I want to make £10 a day.

▪️find a £1 product and sell to 10 people

▪️sell a £2 product to 5 people

▪️ sell a £10 product to one person

If you do this every day, by the end of the month you could have an extra £300!

I have ONE more free copy of my eBook, “Making Money the Easy Way” before I increase the price to over £5.

In the book you will learn how to make more money for a way that’s right for you.

So, what you waiting for?

Aiming High

My dream was, and is, to be a photographer. To get paid for taking photos all day is my dream.

Sometimes you’ve got to dream.

What’s your dream?

If you start now, no matter how small or slow you go, it will eventually take you closer to your goals.

If you don’t start: you go nowhere.

If you do start: you go everywhere.

Fly high and go and get your dream.

There’s no guarantee that everything will work out, but something will work out. You’ve just got to give it a go.

And try everyday. Your future self will thank you for it.

Alive and Free

What makes you feel alive?

What makes you jump out of bed in the morning, not being able to wait to start the day?

For me, it’s the chance to start a new day and to take on new chances and opportunities.

The one thing I love most about my day, is my half an hour, 2 mile walk.

I walk the same route everyday.

Why?

Because I get to notice the sunflower growing, the neighbours walking their dogs, the older people stretching their legs, the dog that always barks at me as I walk past the window.

Growth. Development.

If you do a little bit everyday, you too will begin to notice and see the changes in your life.

It all starts with you.

Reading a page, going for one walk, eating a piece of fruit, thinking a positive thought…

ANYTHING

Just start.

Those small changes everyday will add up and you’ll be glad you did it.

Monday Mornings

Monday’s are great!

First day of a fresh week, full of possibilities and hope.

Write down those goals.

Work at them every day.

You’ll be surprised how far ahead you will be by Friday!

Keep hustling, keep your socials up to date, but mainly…

ENJOY!

Have a good week!

Walk This Way

A late afternoon neighbourhood walk was what I needed!

If you can, get out into nature everyday

Walking helps your mental wellbeing, and if you’ve got music pumping through your headphones, you can literally be in a world of your own

Also, if you walk along the same route everyday, you will begin to notice changes your neighbours make to their houses and gardens

You may even get to see and meet new people along the way

My goal for the rest of August is to walk everyday

Because before you know it…

Autumn will be here.

Looking Up

In this blog post, I am going to explain the “Looking Up” photography method I enjoy using.

💡

There are so many ways to take pictures! But when thinking about camera angles, and positioning – which one works best?

Ford Castle Trees

Angles for photos:

  • Looking up
  • Looking down
  • Snail eye view (search my blog for this post)
  • Full on central
  • Side views/angles

Today, it’s the “looking up” technique.

👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻

To do this, you want to have your lens/camera/phone parallel with the sky.

This adds height, strength, power and dimension to your pictures. It’s a really cool way to have different photos, which is easy to achieve.

Tulips

For this image, I turned the camera on my phone to selfie, placed my phone pretty much on the soil, and clicked to take the snap!

First go!

After a slight edit, and a crop out of the lamppost – it’s one of my favourite photos.

Hard Work Pays Off

Below is a picture of two shots, both in the same place, but a year apart:

Blyth Beach Huts

The first image was taken on auto.

I had just gotten my DSLR at Christmas and ventured out to Blyth to take a picture of the stunning beach huts.

Across the following year, I signed up to a year online course that provided me with excellent information on how to take pictures.

So, the following year, on manual, I took the second picture. It took me a while to get the sun in the right position and after editing on Lightroom, voila!

Would you like to be able to take pictures like either of the above images?

Want to develop a new skill?
