I love animals. I love flamingos the best, though.
As much as zoos aren’t the most PC and perfect environment for animals, I do enjoy the occasional visit.
I go to a zoo in Dudley, near Birmingham whenever I visit my friend down south. It’s a lovely little zoo with a wide variety of animals.
Initially, you have to get on a ski like chair lift to get in an extremely steep incline. It’s not always the highlight of the day, but for 3-5 minutes at dizzying heights, it’s manageable.
I met this cute little guy on a walkthrough. It was so exciting having the opportunity to be so up close and personal with these creatures!

There is just something so magical about being amongst nature with a camera.
I feel confident. I feel empowered. But mostly, I feel so happy.
A week ago I had the privilege of being in nature with my camera.
Paradise.
It’s quite simple in gaining this rainbow effect in the image. It happens most when I use my phone to take pictures. It’s all about playing with the light and allowing the sunshine to bounce and curve off the lens.
For the above effect, I turned my phone upside down so that the lens was on the ground. This way, it skims the bark and adds a density to the image.
I love playing around with photography. You’re never too advanced to keep experimenting.

When taking photos, I LOVE it when objects are in the centre.
For me, it draws the eye to the centre piece of the image.
It’s so simple, yet highly effective.
When you look at a photo, your subconscious starts your eye to the top left of the image – as this is how you read.
So when taking photographs, I bear this in mind.

America is on my list mainly. I’d love to travel around the USA and visit all the 50 states.
One day! Well, obviously I wouldn’t be able to do it in one day!
The above picture was taken in my home town in England. Just the thought of seeing other wonderful sights like this all over the world fill my heart with joy and wonder.
I know life can be difficult, but there’s one thing I know for sure – you’ve totally got this and can do anything.
You see, it’s all in your mind.
Whether you think you can or you can’t – you are right.
Have the upmost and ultimate faith in yourself. Why not? Everyone else does!
You are going to come across a hidden but brilliant talent that is going to take you all over the world and get you earning loads of money. This is photography. You’re talented enough to know what you are doing and you are going to make it big time.
You just need to have faith in yourself.
Also, the most important thing in life is to start and to keep going. If you work a bit every day, no matter how big or small, you will eventually get to your goal.
