The World’s A Stage

I remember performing in this building when I was younger.

I played the flute in Wind Band all throughout my childhood and performed all over Newcastle.

Kings Hall, The Lit and Phil, The Sage, The City Hall… I even played for the Queen and Prince Philip as they opened the Millennium Bridge at the Quayside in May 2002!

Now? I take pictures of them and send them into the paper!

Reach For The Sky

For me, as a photographer, the sky is one of the most beautiful things to photograph. The ever changing colours and the endless combination of cloud never fail to be a pretty sight.

I’ve often found that taking sky pics on my phone is better than my camera. Whilst a camera is superb and very skilled, I think that the colours are purer through a phone.

I recently upgraded my phone and began practicing a couple of days after the purchase.

These were all taken from my garden and were slightly edited through Lightroom.

If it wasn’t for the bird, I think that they look like pictures from outer space or of an aerial view of the ocean. I love how the clouds form wave like patterns that add that density and dimension to the images.

Mother nature is wonderful, isn’t she?

I love writing!

Notes, lists, plans… there are so many reasons to write.

You see, you don’t have to change your dream/goal/destination.

The attention is all in the travelling and the journey.

Eventually all the roads you take will take you to your destination. The thing is to not just discover the more profitable/quickest, but the most enjoyable.

If the journey is a painful one, you won’t succeed. Period.

Success and happiness is all part of the journey AND the destination. If you aren’t happy now, you won’t be happy when you reach your goal.

It’s all in the mindset.
