As well as canoeing on the lakes of Borrowdale, I enjoyed a few hiking trips.
One of which, the views will stay with me forever.
We must have been walking for a good 3 hours before we stopped for lunch. We had made our way up this high hill and stopped at the top for a well earned break and sit down!
The views I had for lunch were like no other I had, or have had since, in my life.
With the mountains in the distance lightly powdered with snow, it really gives you a sense of how cold it was!
This reflection is one of the most stunning scenes I have seen. Imagine eating your ham sandwiches staring at this!
The way the sun kissed the mountains, gave a huge colourful contrast to the two peaks.
By far one of my favourite views of all time.
