I read yesterday online, someone asking “why do you edit photos? Why not just take better pictures?”
Well, here’s my reasoning.
You see, I can agree to an extent; purer images and they are more natural looking, less fake etc.
But once you begin to see the difference between a phone pic and then an edited phone pic, you will understand why the odd touch up is necessary.
I didn’t change the composition, I didn’t crop. Just changed the colours so they pop!
A slight crop around the edges so they are symmetrical and I’ve muted the collider colour and enhanced the green grass through the slats.

Straightened, cropped and now black and white!
Editing is all about preference. Sometimes you are happy with the original image, but personally, it doesn’t harm to give your images an extra nudge!
